I booked a day room at the Radisson Blu Airport Gardarmoen, then left all my luggage in their storeroom for 3 weeks. The day room was very handy to shower, change and put bike together before heading out. They are very friendly and may store your bike bag even if you don’t book a room.

Hotels are always your best option with large luggage facilities. If you’re in Oslo, Fara cycling has a lot of storage space and might take it off you for a set price. Hi Jill, landscapes in Norway are such diverse that options are many.
I don’t have a route recommendation (yet) but some hints:
To avoid crowds, go early in the season. High season starts end of June. But keep in mind that many great mountain passes won’t open before Mid June or even later… - View more comments
