  650b Tires for the Mjølkevegenin mid-August?

  Hi all,

  I’m looking for recommendations for the best 650b tires to ride the Mjølkevegen 19-22 August (Vinstra to Gol). I have three sets of Rene Herse tires, but am not opposed to buying something else. Currently mounted on my Seven Evergreen gravel bike are 38mm Loup Loup Pass smooth / all-road tires. I also have this same tire in 42mm (the Babyshoe Pass model). And I have the 48mm dual-purpose (knobby) Juniper Pass.

  I realize this is a personal decision, but I’m just looking for input from those who have ridden the Mjølkevegen. I’ve found online from folks who have ridden this stretch that they were happy with a 38-48mm smooth / all-road tire.
