Me and my wife are planning a trip this summer (heavily inspired by Cycle Norway) and we have run into some issues/questions.
We are going over Aurlandsfjellet down to Lærdalsøyri and we want to continue to Sognefjorden. But it looks like we will not be able to get through Fodnestunnelen to go Fodnes-Mannheller.

It’s all part of the National Cycle Routes. Mostly on paved (80%), but you can add gravel options in Telemark. Haukeli is busy during summer at certain times of the day (a lot of holiday cabins in the area). But overall, it’s safe to cycle.
