Planned Train disruption Oslo - Trondheim
Message from Gregory: I just wanted to reply to a question from Raphael Stocker: Train disruption Oslo-Trondheim. I had the similar problem last year in September. My solution was to take the train between Oslo and Bergen, and Havila (or Hurtigruten) between Bergen and Trondheim.
If he has time enough, he could do the same from Bergen to Molde…

Hirtshals → Bergen
The main ferry operator on this long north-Atlantic crossing is Fjord Line:
-
It runs daily or near-daily sailings from Hirtshals (Denmark) to Bergen (Norway) in the summer.
-
Crossing time: ~16–18 hours depending on schedule/season.
-
You can take your camper van and book a cabin or deck seat.
-
You might find cheaper deals booking…

I can spend July in one city, what city do you park yourself for amazing gravel?
Oslo is the only major city with endless gravel routes in all directions.

A guy in India buys a bike with ‘Norway’ written on its frame. He sent me an email about how disappointed he is with the bike and wants a refund!

Sure, cyclenorway should be held accountable for all bicycle-related issues in Norway 😆
Maybe he would enjoy his new bike more with inflated tires?

Hotels are always your best option with large luggage facilities. If you’re in Oslo, Fara cycling has a lot of storage space and might take it off you for a set price.
