Yes, I believe that is your best option. If you need to get back to Oslo, you’ll need to head to Lom, then Otta. The other option is to continue to Flåm, which is too far away. I can’t think of any other options with the restricted time frame you have. Sognefjellethytta to Otta is a comfortable journey, allowing you to take the last train home to Oslo.

Options I can think of:
1) Join Warmshowers and contact people in Oslo and see if any have space for two bikes

Last weekend in Telemark. After two weeks of dry and settled weather, we now have a low-pressure system over southern Norway.
