Amazing winter ride conditions in Vesterålen, out to the charming village of Nyksund. No studs, just pure joy.
Came in with a private taxi boat to Smines, and cycled through two different fjords before reaching Myre. Then out to the exposed, wild and picturesque road to Nyksund, facing the open sea.

Around September 2nd, I plan to arrive at Nordkapp. I am now looking for options to return to Bodø. My initial plan is to take a ferry from Honningsvåg to Tromsø. I would appreciate any advice on how to get from Tromsø to Bodø.View more comments-

Thank you Matthew. I was looking into the ferry transport from Tromsø to Bodø, but the price is inhumane—more than €600. Flying is a tough choice because I will leave the box and protection in Bodø, which means I would have to find everything needed for packing and protection in Tromsø. The EuroVelo 1 route is the best option IMO.

Back then, I took the Hurtigrute from Honningsvåg to Bergen to get back home. It was marvellous to let the route pass you by again (with good food)…
