Anyone cycling Norway this summer?
I’m starting in Tromso midJuly and planning to cycle(and camp) down through the islands. I hear that the traffic is really bad. Any comments or suggestions?

Hej hej everyone 😀
I’m already in the starting blocks for my 2025 tour. I’m really looking forward to 4 weeks of freedom on two wheels.
I start on 03.07. in Gothenburg, Sweden. From there, I’m heading north along the coast to Norway. From there, the wilderness route is on my plan, which I want to ride as far as Røros. I’ll continue west along…

Agreed! I also discovered this when snooping around their site to look at traffic cams for snow melt status in May.

Hi guys,
I will arrive at Tromsø Airpot next Friday June 27th around 10 am. Since my plan is to cycle to Kirkenes I will abandon my card board box at the airport. In case someone needs a box to depart from Tromsø airport he/she is more than welcome to take over the box.
Cheers,
Yves

I’ve been concerned about being able to find wild camping spots along my route for some time. The best advice I have found so far is(includes Matthew’s) is to use Google maps.
But I think I have found higher res photography from Norway that makes google maps look myopic.
Go to https://vegkart.atlas.vegvesen.no
Choose Flyfoto from the Layers side…
