Me and my wife are just back from our sightseeing and leisure cycling tour south of Ålesund. We were looking more or less what you described, a loop with peaceful paved roads and beautiful surroundings. So here is what we would recommend based on our limited experience.

Regards from Kilboghamn. Just spent last night on Polarcamp, a great Camp spot with a spectacular view and great weather. Now waiting for the ferry to Jetvika and finally crossing the polarcircle.

In the premium members section, you will get a lot of info regarding loops around Ålesund. This is a small version, but you can extend it to 300-400km. This is mentioned in the alternative section on the detail page: https://cyclenorway.com/en/routes/the-worlds-greatest-day-ride/
There is also this one where you can take a bus back to Ålesund…

Hi!
I have about 5 full days of riding possible, originally I wanted to land in Bergen and ride up to Aalesund and fly from there but I think logistics wise, bike box etc, it would be easier to do a loop from Aalesund. Also cheaper flying from London. Does anyone know of a good loop or must see spots/roads – around 400-500km? I am very open to…
