Capital to Mountain to Mjolkevegen
Correction, I see from Vinstra you’re doing the gudbrandsdalen route 7 to Lillehammer. Better to take the mountain road Peer Gynt vegan that runs on the west side before Vinstra.

Capital to Mountain to Mjolkevegen
No it looks great. Always nice to cycle out of the city and feel that achievement as you reach the remote areas. Lillehammer is the perfect place to finish with easy train access running every hour to Oslo.

Prepare paneers as check-In luggage
Hi Mike,
thanks for your reply. I will arrive by train, ferry, riding, then train again 😉 So no flight.
I will travel a bit through Sweden beforehand so..
Otherwise this would been a nice option.

Prepare paneers as check-In luggage
Hi, Anna
You did not mention how you plan to get all of those items TO Oslo.
I’ll soon be flying to/from Oslo w/bike and gear too. My plan is to pack everything into check-in and carry-on luggage (bike separately, of course), check into a hotel for a couple of days and use the service that Matthew listed previously (https://wanda.space) to store…

Prepare paneers as check-In luggage
Hi community!
I will fly back from Oslo beginning of August and wondering how to combine my paneers and tent into one check-in luggage (as I understood I can not leave anything on the bike). I have two paneers and a handle bar bag and a rack pack. Unfortunately none of those are big enough to combine at least two items so I would need to check…

Planning to cycle the old postal road from Alta to Kautokeino in the next few days. There’s a bus back from Kautokeino, but we don’t find any info if this also takes bikes back. Anyone have any info on this?
-
The bus is operated by Snelandia. According to their website, “Passengers may take bicycles on the bus subject to available space.” (https://snelandia.no/tourist-in-finnmark/bagasje-pa-reisen/?sprak=3) A bicycle ticket costs 70 NOK.
Be prepared for difficult conditions on the old post road. Two weeks ago, especially the middle part was *very*…

Capital to Mountain to Mjolkevegen
Hi Community,
we will start a 2 week bikepacking tour on 20th of July from Oslo and so far I planned to combine the Capital to mountain gravel route (which looks amazing) with Mjolkevegen starting the Capital to mountain loop over the Nordmarka area and then turn off onto Mjolkevegen at Langestolen. Then taking the train back from…
