The weather has been incredible the last few weeks with temperatures at night that I never experienced before in the mountains and by the fjords. I slept without my sleeping bag on several occasions. This usually doesn’t happen! It’s a glitch in the matrix. If you coming to Norway in the coming weeks be prepared for all weather and temperatures. But here is few photos when the weather gods are being kind.

I have been watching the Norwegian weather with alarm over the day-after-day forecasts of 20 degree (F) above averages across the central region between Voss and Bergen. The anthropocentric climate impacts are no longer debatable.

I’m noticing a shift in the people around me. More and more people seek out Norway (and the other Scandinavian countries) for climate reasons :).

@renehillege I hate to post this bad news for the climate in Norway but we all need to know these things.
OpenAI and their partners British AI cloud provider Nscale and Norwegian energy firm Aker announced the development of a 290 MW (initially and then twice that) StarGate datacenter in Narvik.
It will be powered by renewable energy but the heat and noise profiles, not to mention clean water consumption, of centers like this are locally very impactful.
