Last summer I found a hotel near the Oslo airport that was happy to store my bike box for me. I stayed a couple of nights before and after my ride.

I’d probably feel right at home on the Lofoten Islands especially if I bring my own bags.

Stefan has a good suggestion but I also wonder if you didn’t use the ‘Include in route’ option when creating the POI. That’s what I do and all of my POIs are there on my gps device.

That’s not far from my Airbnb.

Google Maps lists 3 or so Sporting Goods stores but that may not be suitable for what you need.
How about contacting the sponsors of the event? Maybe they know somebody who knows somebody that can help.

I am going to be carrying the Big Agnes Gold Camp UL 3.
I am too old and arthritic to be crawling around on my hands and knees.
I needed something that I could (almost) stand up in.
It should also be easy to set up in the rain since it only has one pole.

Hi, Anna
You did not mention how you plan to get all of those items TO Oslo.
I’ll soon be flying to/from Oslo w/bike and gear too. My plan is to pack everything into check-in and carry-on luggage (bike separately, of course), check into a hotel for a couple of days and use the service that Matthew listed previously (https://wanda.space) to store my bags and bike box while i’m on the road or maybe the hotel will store them if I book with them again on my return to Oslo.
Would that work for you?

Disposable but not compostable. But I like the idea of a container w/a screw-top for airtightness. Another good use for Talenti jars but it would be wise to label which ones you’ll use for cold soak and which ones for waste????

I am starting to learn these things.
Newbiness is sometimes a very laughable thing.

but is it possible to just pile a bunch of gps files for a number of routes (road, gravel, national routes, etc.) into a map that you are actively planning?
maybe start here: https://www.vegvesen.no/en/traffic-information/traffic-information/national-cycle-routes/download-the-routes-in-gpx-format/
I use RWGPS too but have not experimented with adding to a map a gps file/route that does not connect to my last endpoint
It would be a good question to send in to their help desk. They are very good at tips and tricks with their product.
BTW, who is this guy? What’s that sign?

Download the routes in GPX format
Once you know what route you want to cycle, you can download files with the cycle routes in GPX format from this page.

I’ve had the same question. I haven’t touched cash (I can almost say ‘or even credit cards’) since my visit to Norway last year. I maintained the same practice even in the US on my return. Cashless is the way to go.
But this year’s trip will probably require some campground visits where having to pay for sites & facilities like showers seems to be the rule. I am not going to like carrying the extra weight of coins.

That looks the same as the pic on the left (but not DJI).
It IS good but slips a bit on my handlebar unless I shim it up.
I haven’t tried it yet w/the insta360. It’s a challenge because it’s more top-heavy than a GoPro.
