The route from Tromsø to Harstad via the south side of Kvaløya, Finnsnes, Sørreisa, Sjovegan, Andørja, Rolla, and Sørrollnes is a great choice for a quieter, caravan-free alternative to the EV-1. I’m starting in Tromso midJuly and planning to cycle(and camp) down through the islands. I hear that the traffic is really bad. Any comments or suggestions?

I’m cycling from Tromso to end of Lofoten islands, then ferry over to mainland and cycle down towards Bergen. I’ll be doing this mid July to midAug. I’m trying to figure a sleep system so that I stay warm while camping. Any suggestions for a sleeping bag or system? Since I’ll be on the road for several weeks, I’m hoping to keep my gear…
