Telemark Loop ⛔️WARNING
The area around Hengsvann between Kongsberg and Notodden is closed as its inuse by the military at the moment. Think it is a practice area for the heimevernet ( territorial army) and as it is holiday week they are probably on exercise. We climbed ip their this morning 3.10, and were met with the road closure sign so we had to turn around. Can’t advice any alternative routes as we have called it a day for this trip.

Sorry to hear that! Thank you for letting us know. I will add this info to the route map. You can stick with the main paved road, which leads you back onto the main route.

BTW, if you are bikepacking right now, Storm Amy is coming in tomorrow. It’s going to be two very bad days of weather. But, I guess you know this already. Afterwards, it looks like a dry next week with above-average temperatures.
