• Norway Day 2

The question of the day is? Are we riding the hills of Norway to train for riding the Cols of Switzerland or have our rides in Switzerland helped us to reach the summits today. Either way neither country does flat very well.

Yes the veiws are worth it, the legs will get use to it but to be honest for a couple of 60 year old grandparents we may need a few extra rest days.

Most of our day was spent in the forest, with the odd waterfall and lake rushing a shimmering into veiw all a great distraction.

We found a statepark in the village of konsmo after raiding the hot bar of the Spar Shop. I was tempted to try some tricks on the touring bike. But a blog from hospital not so interesting, but may get more likes.

After lunch it was straight into a climb which never seemed to end but when it did there was a down hill rush to the campsite.

Showered and some food after the blog is done, then an early night. Ready for those hills and surprises in the morning.

      • Good stuff! Hopefully, your legs will get used to the ups and downs after a week. But certainly, flat roads are limited in southern Norway!
