Hi!!! Last year, due to a last-minute medical issue, I had to cancel my cycling trip to Norway. This year, if all goes well, I’ll spend 15 days with my son driving through the fjordsand then I’ll go back on my own by bike for 21 days. I wanted to do Trondheim–Tromsø, but just today I found a flight to Bodø, and since I’m very clear that I want to enjoy the Lofoten Islands at my own pace and with plenty of love, I’ve decided to do Bodø–Tromsø — with the rest of the route still to be decided: I’m not sure whether to head towards Nordkapp or Lakselv and then come back to Tromsø, or try to make it to Kirkenes and then return to Tromsø by boat...
Any recommendations? And above all — LOFOTEN. I want to cycle there and also do the classic hiking trails. My question: what do you do with the bike? And with the tent and the panniers? Do you just leave them wherever you’re camped and hope for the best? My plan is to wild camp as much as I possibly can. Thanks in advance.
