Vintage bicycle for tour
This is not a recommendation for others, but I would like to mention that I am again using my 1985 Trek touring bicycle given to me by my uncle, who rode it in Norway back in the 1980s. It’s a sturdy bike for loading lots of gear. Last year I rode it from Tromsø to Trondheim through rain and wind. Today I’m starting from Vinstra and heading up Mjølkevegen and heading to Sognefjord.

A great combination of “the best bike for bikepacking is the one you already have” and “don’t fix (or replace I guess) it if it ain’t broken”! 😀
