Loop Routes for Road Bikes/Allroad Bikes with 32mm
Hi folks,
I have looked at the other discussions and looked around on the site, but unfortunately I have not found the information I am looking for.
We don’t have gravel bikes (yet) and the smallest common tyre size we have is. 32mm and for me it goes up to 38 mm.
I am therefore looking for loop routes that can be ridden with these tyres.
32mm is definitely suitable for many routes, but unfortunately not for every gravel tour,
Most trails in Norway are probably very good to ride with these tyres, I’m thinking especially of firm sand or only light gravel, as is found on forest tracks or unpaved roads.
Most of the routes I find here are multi-day tours or the day routes around the bigger towns.
We are regular travellers to Norway and have been more or less everywhere and will go everywhere again, so I would be happy to receive suggestions for the most beautiful routes that can be ridden as a round trip or as a simple out-and-back route.
Last year, for example, we cycled from Svartness to Hamningberg and back again.
Or Kirkenes to Grense Jakobselv.
On Lofoten we had good loops on side roads, but the further you get to Á i Lofoten the more main roads you have to drive on and the less beautiful the tour becomes in my opinion.

Last year I did a full video series on loop rides all over Norway. Many of them are short and ideal for one or two-day trips. I was searching for this. I knew there were Routes on the Main Site, but I couldn’t find the loops straight away. Maybe I´m missing something.
And it’s also not easy to decide from the track data if the route ist rideable without big tires. Its just says “unpaved Road”.
