Gravel Kongsberg – Kragerø?
Got a couple of days at the start of the holidays that I plan to spend gravel biking with my 11-year-old son.
We’re aiming to end up in Kragerø, but thinking of taking the train to somewhere like Kongsberg and biking gravel roads through the Skrim and Sauherad mountains before crossing Skien and continuing west of Herre down to Feset.
Ride With GPS suggests a pretty bold line the whole way, but Strava shows some undefined surfaces through the Grenland forests.
Anyone biked this route and would recommend it—or suggest an alternative? We’ve got a tent with us and plan for a max of three days on the bike. The kid is a fairly capable rider, but of course his age sets some limits 😉
