Are Road bikesok for small segments like 5 km …, ok for use in what komoot call Compacted gravel or unpaved road…
I am looking specially arround Senja Island, like arriving to Vangsvika from the north , main Road, during final August…. Thank you

There is a very simple answer to this question. Go on to Google Street View and look at the roads you plan to cycle. Most small side roads in the North are hard-packed gravel and doable on a road bike. But I recommend 28mm tyres and maybe go tubeless for reassurance.
