• Hello, planning my first trip to Norway in July. So many possibilities. I’m trying to connect some remote gravel roads of the southeast (starting at Oslo Airport Gardermoen) to the famous gravelroads like Jotunheimen, Mjolkevegen to reach the Femundsmarka route(s).

Was especially looking for a connection from Hagafoss via Varaldsvegen to Vats Fjellstue and then continue via Vatslivegen and Flaevassvegen(?) to Hemsedal.

Does somebody know if that route is possible with a gravelbike and if that connection is worth it?

Is it worth to detour to the east (Swedish border) for the gravel roads or do I find some similar remote gravel roads also on a more direct route heading directly north/west from the Airport?
