Bikepacking tour Bergen -> Trondheim in August

Who would like to join me on a few stages of my Bergen -> Trondheim bikepacking tour in August?

My name is Christian, I’m 51 years old, a father (children ages 20 and 17), and I take time off once a year for a longer bikepacking tour. I’m simple, uncomplicated, and live near Cologne (Germany). For the last two years, I’ve been traveling in the fjords of Norway. A real dream. This year I want to explore Norway’s Atlantic coast.

🚲 My travel plan:

I’m planning to cycle from Bergen to Trondheim (Eurovelo 1) from August 11, 2025, to August 23, 2025. I want to cover about 100km a day.

⛺️ About my planned travel style:

I’ll be staying mostly in a tent (in my dachshund garage 😀), mostly at campsites, but occasionally off-campsite. In exceptional cases, for example, if all my gear is wet, I’ll also treat myself to accommodation.

I have a gas stove with me, which I use often. But I also love taking a longer break in a nice café with a hot chocolate and a sandwich. Eating out is very expensive in Norway, so I rarely eat in a restaurant (more as a reward).

🕶️ Who am I looking for:

Since my previous travel partner had to give up due to health reasons three years ago, I’ve been traveling alone. But it’s more fun with someone else. I’m looking for a like-minded travel partner who would like to join me on some of the stages. If you have similar attitudes, please get in touch.
