Hello and Moin everybody.

My name is Olav from Lübeck in Germany and I decided yesterday to change my free account to an one year account. Because I found you in June for my plan to make a 8 week biketrip in Norway and I’m very happy to find these outstanding page with lots of great informations.

What is my plan for next summer?

I will start here at home in Lübeck by bike and follow the pilgrim way to Flensburg (Danish border). From the danish border I’ll ride straight forward to Hirsthals to enter the ferry to Kristiansand. In Norway I’ll visit Oslo where the Olavsway startet, the pilgrim of St. Olav from Oslo to Trondheim. During a few years there is the possibility to make this pilgrim by bike and that’s my plan. From Trondheim I have to go back to Bergen where I can enter the ferry back to Hirsthals and then by train back to Lübeck. Thats my plan and I hope I can start end of June 2026. Between Tronheim and Bergen I will ride the Trollstiegen and some other destinations. I find your Bergen-Adalsnes route and it sounds like a dream. That will be my route back !

Last year I ride the ViaClaudiaAugusta to cross the alpes from south of Germany to Venice and it was an outstanding trip for me and the wish was born for a longer trip in North Europe. Together with the wish of pilgrim the Olavsway the plan grows.
