Hi, so I’m new to Bikepacking trips and solo overnight adventures. When I quickly look at what I deem necessary for an overnight trip there is cooking equpment, tent/hammock and sleeping bag. Maybe even a sleeping mat. Just by the look of bikepacking equipment it does not look to be able to carry all this, so I’m starting to imagine more of a…

I would look at a simple BRS stove, corresponding fuel cannister and a generic (titanium) cooking pot that is just big enough to house the stove, cannister and maybe a lighter. Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/jBUu1cqqIbg

Also… For my very first bikepacking trip, I took a small backpack with me. Sure it’s not what the pro’s do, but at least you’re more confident that you bring everything you need. Just keep track of what you actually used and leave the other things behind (unless they’re emergency things of course).
