Norway Day 10
Last night, we were in the transit camp for visitors to the Preikestolen, and the receptionist was always busy patiently answering the same questions.
We took advantage of the cosy reception with a huge muffin with hot chocolate on a stick and a cappuccino, but at 8 pm, we were asked to leave. It was a warmer night, so when the alarm went off at 7.15am, we were up and with efficient teamwork and were on the road within the hour. In town, I needed to get some bike oil, and we topped up on way too much food as we were not sure if it was a bank holiday weekend.
Our ride was short following route 13 on the cycle path. We passed the entrance to the 14.4 km long Ryfylke Tunnel under the
Horgefjord. There are even longer tunnels in Norway. All banned to cyclists.
Tea break was taken in a bus stop with a veiw before a decent to rejoin route 13. At the next tunnel, we had to take the old road as cyclists were also banned. Loved this road to ourselves amongst the waterfall and huge cliff towering above us. As the road finished our campsite appeared. Tonight, we sleep in a hut.2 Comments-
How do you like the Randy Sun socks?
How many pair do you need for a long bike tour or do they stay fresh enough to wear day after day?

@mpage they work feet stay dry from rain and splashing. But I have some damp from sweating. I have only 1 pair used when riding, but 2nd would be better. They do not get smelly have washed them once a week.
