Planning to cycle the old postal road from Alta to Kautokeino in the next few days. There’s a bus back from Kautokeino, but we don’t find any info if this also takes bikes back. Anyone have any info on this?

The bus is operated by Snelandia. According to their website, “Passengers may take bicycles on the bus subject to available space.” (https://snelandia.no/tourist-in-finnmark/bagasje-pa-reisen/?sprak=3) A bicycle ticket costs 70 NOK.
Be prepared for difficult conditions on the old post road. Two weeks ago, especially the middle part was *very* wet and partially rough to ride (see pictures). And don’t miss the hike to Alta Canyon right at the beginning!
Next time, consider asking in Forum “Does anyone know?” Your question will get more attention there.
