Satellite photos for route and wildcamping research
I’ve been concerned about being able to find wild camping spots along my route for some time. The best advice I have found so far is(includes Matthew’s) is to use Google maps.
But I think I have found higher res photography from Norway that makes google maps look myopic.
Go to https://vegkart.atlas.vegvesen.no
Choose Flyfoto from the Layers side menu and zoom in to the point that you can actually see power lines

Agreed! I also discovered this when snooping around their site to look at traffic cams for snow melt status in May.
