Route 815 Leknes
Hey everyone. I am starting my trip to From Bodo to the North Cape soon, but was wondering:
The route 815 from Leknes south, will definitely be quiter, but looking on google maps it seems like there are fences almost everywhere next to the road, or that it is very steep or hilly or too wet, so im not sure if there are possibilities to wild camp?The route on the north side of the island will be busier with the cars, but seems to have more beaches and places to camp.
Any thoughts/tips on that? Have you found nice places for wildcamping near the 815?

I would definitely recommend riding road 815! It’s a very nice road that follows the coastline most of the time, and it is indeed not easy to find a camp spot in that area. Additionally, it’s forbidden to wild camp in many areas on Lofoton, see this official map: https://nordlandskart.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=c8c9eca7cf294d1791feb9bc6b1012eb
