Your tent should be fine, perhaps share the make and model so people can give you better feedback. We have a nature hike 3 a it has kept us dry in all weather.
When our tent is wet and the next day is sunny we always get the tent out at lunch time and dry it off ready for the next night.
If there is a few rainy days we sometimes book a hotel sometimes we continue to camp, it is a individual choice.
I do not know about the animals but @Matthew Norway has survived a few years of cycling in Norway so can not to to dangerous.
Most say water in Norway is fine to drink but I always filter the drinking water just in case there is dirty water from farming.
